When Sam and I first started eating keto, we ordered various meal replacement shakes online. Many of the shakes we tried were gross. I can tell you that neither of us believe that bone broth and chocolate should be combined. Never. Ones that tasted okay turned out to be full of artificial colors, fake flavors, and soy. So, I started experimenting with whey protein powder to make one for us to eat.

After a couple of months, I came up with the recipe for my Vanilla Bean Reishi Protein Shake mix. Finally, something good to have as a meal replacement for when we are on the run. To add variety, I sometimes mix in fresh blueberries or other fruits. Having a delicious, nutritious, and all-natural breakfast in a pinch? That’s KetoLuxe.

INGREDIENTS
6 scoops KetoLuxe Vanilla Bean Reishi Shake mix
1 cup almond milk
½ ounce fresh blueberries

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth. 
  2. Pour into a chilled pint glass.
  3. Drink immediately. 

YIELD
1 shake

NOTES
If you don’t have my shake mix, you can use fresh fruit in one that you already own. It can only make it better.

Raspberries, avocado, and blackberries can be substituted for blueberries.
