Keto Buffalo Chicken Dip by Chef Alexa Lemley of KetoLuxe

My Keto Buffalo Chicken Dip will score an extra point as part of a Super Bowl Spread for being gluten free, sugar free, and low carb. 

Buffalo Chicken Dip

One of my favorite people, the phenomenally fit Ann (also my future sister-in-law) introduced me to Buffalo Chicken Dip at a Super Bowl party she hosted. My taste buds were titillated. I could not help myself but to have seconds and thirds. Little did I know it was straight up keto when I tried it a couple of years ago.

To make it KetoLuxe, I made some simple swaps to her original Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe and presentation. I changed it from having chicken breasts to thighs to up the fat content. I use my own Really Ranch Dressing (recipe to come soon) so that I know there aren’t any hidden carbs lurking about. I accompany it with fresh vegetables like celery and cucumbers along with pork rinds for dipping (not today, chips).

Serve this at your Super Bowl Party or any get-together with fun people. Especially if your guests don’t eat keto, this is a good way to have your dip and eat it too. They’ll love the flavor. You’ll love that it’s a fat bomb.

20 minutes

2 cups shredded cooked chicken thighs (approximately 6 average sized thighs)
8 ounces cream cheese
½ cup ranch dressing
½ cup cayenne pepper sauce
½ cup blue cheese crumbles


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together all ingredients. 
  3. Place into a medium casserole dish. 
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly. 
  5. Serve warm with pork rinds or fresh vegetables for dipping. 

12 servings

You can make this in a small chafing dish pan to keep warm during your party.

Don’t like blue cheese? Substitute sharp cheddar.

If you prefer, use leftover chicken from a whole one that you cooked before.
